Cellofoam Composite Roof Panels & Nail Base

Cellofoam factory laminated EPS composite panels are available in a variety of combinations including: wood fiberboard, gypsum board, perlite, OSB, plywood. We also laminate a slip sheet using foil or paper. Factory laminated systems are superior to field laminated systems and saves time and costs of field labor. This energy saving laminate can be used as roofing recovery board also.

Cellofoam FR composite roof panels are factory laminated using quality control procedures. The insulation core consists of rigid modified expanded polystyrene (EPS) with closed cells molded in a range of densities and sizes to meet your project application and or specifications. Cellofoam FR laminate is coated glass fiber mat specifically designed for use over EPS. Cellofoam FR fire resistant laminate enhances the overall fire performance of many conventional commercial roof systems, including metal roofs.

Cellofoam FR composite roof panels provide superior protection against flame spread and penetration, as part of a "Class A" assembly over combustible and noncombustible roof decks. We recommend the use of FR composite panels for low sloped roof applications that employ mechanically fastened or ballasted TPO, PVS, EPDN or CSPE. Low sloped built-up roofs, modified bitumen and fully adhered single ply roofs that incorporate cover boards or slip sheets are also a recommended application. Cellofoam FR composite roof panels can also act as a barrier between chemically incompatible insulation and roof membranes.

Some of the advantages of choosing Cellofoam FR composite roof panels include: labor savings, code approvals – Factory Mutual Approvals and UL listings. The R-Value of Cellofoam EPS is permanent because EPS only contains stabilized air. It does not experience thermal drift meaning that R-value remains constant throughout the life of the application. Cellofoam EPS does not easily absorb moisture from the atmosphere; its closed cell structure reduces the absorption and/or migration of moisture in the insulation material.

Cellofoam EPS is also environmentally friendly containing no formaldehyde or ozone depleting CFCs or HCFCs. It contains up to 25% recycled material and is 100% recyclable if ever replaced or removed.
