Building Insulation Products Plain EPS Insulation

Pre-Cut Roofing Components

Cellofoam understands tapered insulation systems and the challenges associated with rapid and low-cost commercial & industrial roofing installation. Our factory pre-cut Crickets, Hip Blocks, Valley Blocks, and Sumps are designed to lower your installation labor costs and improve your profit.

Cellofoam pre-cut roofing components are made of premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) rigid insulation that meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM C578, Standard Specification for Rigid, Cellular Polystyrene Thermal Insulation. The EPS is composed of closed cells with excellent dimensional stability, compressive strength, and water resistance. Cellofoam pre-cut roofing components may be ordered in a wide range of ASTM C578 EPS Types, with compressive strengths from 10 to 60 psi. In addition to these pre-cut roofing components, Cellofoam offers a wide variety of other roofing products including Fan-Fold, Flute Fill, FR Composite Sheets, and Tapered EPS insulation.

Features

Advantages

Cost Savings

EPS reduces energy costs and offers the highest R-value per dollar of any foam insulation board. Our factory pre-cut Crickets, Sumps, Hip Blocks, and Valley Blocks are designed to lower your installation costs and improve your profit.

Code Approvals

Underwriters Laboratory Listed, UL Classified TGFU.R7260, UL ER7260, for low slope mechanically attached or ballasted roof systems. Please consult local building codes and membrane manufacturers for system requirements.

Stable R-value

The R-value of EPS is permanent because the only gas in EPS is air. Unlike Polyiso or XPS whose blowing agents outgas and therefore lose R-value, EPS R-values do not degrade over decades of use.

Moisture Resistant

Cellofoam EPS is quick drying and does not readily absorb moisture from the air. Its closed-cell structure reduces the absorption and migration of moisture.

Premium Quality

Meets or exceeds ASTM C578 specifications. When properly installed it does not deteriorate with age, and is resistant to mildew, rot, fungus, and bacteria.

Environmentally Friendly

Cellofoam EPS contains no formaldehyde or ozone-depleting CFCs or HCFCs. Its EPS core is 100% recyclable and may contain recycled material.
